Welcome! This is the homepage for the Lattanzi Research Group (LRG) at George Mason University.
We are an interdisciplinary team of engineering and computing researchers envisioning the next generation of diagnostic technologies for engineered, biological, and natural systems. Our research expertise covers the broad areas of artificial intelligence, computer vision, robotics, system diagnostics, and mechanics.

Meet the Team
Dr. David Lattanzi, PE is an associate professor and the John Toups Faculty Fellow in Civil Engineering at George Mason University. Formerly a professional structural engineer and bridge inspector, he studies how AI, remote sensing, and robotics can be leveraged to create intelligent systems with enhanced resilience and survivability.
